Lisa Hudson, who's been at Admiral's Pointe for the past 22 years, stands as the driving force behind the extraordinary joy and engagement experienced by our residents. With nearly 30 years of experience in the activity field and over 40 years as an STNA, Lisa's creativity knows no bounds. As a Certified Activity Director, Certified Dementia Practitioner, and with additional certifications in Montessori, Age-u-cate, and facilitation of programs like Opening Minds through Art, she brings an unparalleled wealth of expertise to our residents.
Beyond her official roles, Lisa actively contributes to the community, volunteering for various causes such as Meals on Wheels, area churches, and the Alzheimer's Walk. Her commitment extends to leading an Early Onset Support Group for the Alzheimer Association, showcasing her dedication to the well-being of others. She's a coordinator for transportation, oversees scheduling, and plays a vital role in marketing efforts. Lisa's multi-faceted talents include her culinary skills, where she not only assists the Dietary Department with special events but also surprises our staff with delightful treats.
The Activities Department, under Lisa's guidance, operates as a well-oiled machine, exemplifying the values of teamwork, love, and care. For Lisa and her team, this isn't just a job; it's an extension of their own families. Every day, they work tirelessly to deliver quality programming, bringing smiles not only to residents but also to the entire staff.
