Local Girl Scout Troop Serving Admiral's Pointe
April 26, 2021
Admiral's Pointe would like to extend a special thank you to our local girl scout troop #50520 for providing community service to us and helping clean up around our facility.
Troop #50520 earned their gratitude badge, by spending a Saturday afternoon outside the facility picking up litter. The troop consists of seven 4th grade girls from Berlin Elementary. Their troop leader is Admiral's Pointe very own Amanda Edwards! Amanda is a long time veteran STNA here at Admiral's Pointe.
Amanda shared that the girls were full of energy and absolutely ecstatic to be able to be with one another after spending the year apart due to COVID precautions. The experience helped teach the troop about caring for their community, one another, and the elderly.

The girls are going to be collaborating closely with Admiral's Pointe throughout the year to continue to earn various badges for their community service. They are looking forward to submitting their artwork to be featured in an upcoming special event for the resident's!
Thank you Troop #50520!
It was so great to be the meeting ground for this group to finally reconnect with one another. Our residents have been doing a lot of reconnecting of their own with loved ones over the past few weeks since we have been able to welcome back visitors!
Troop #50520 showed some love to our residents through acts of service. If you would like to show some love of your own to our residents take advantage of our We Care Cards. Our We Care Cards are a great way to send a friendly message and/or photos with our residents. Click the button below to create your own Care Card!
