Tying the Knot at Admiral's Pointe!

Whether it’s your special day or you’re just celebrating with everybody else, weddings are happy and wonderful events. At Admiral's Pointe, we are all about family, and it brings us so much joy to go that extra mile to make our residents and their family members feel special.
On Saturday, September 24, the staff at Admiral's Pointe came together with our Activity Director, Lisa Hudson, leading the way to make another dream come true. A resident's daughter inquired if she could have a small wedding here at the facility so that her mom could be a part of her special day.
Lisa had a big hand in making sure everything was organized and planned out. She decorated and assisted with getting everything ready for their day. The ceremony was filled with vows of love and spending a lifetime together, families uniting, and having friends by your side wishing you all the best. It is a day with many memories and a day you won't forget.
With mom sitting front and center, they exchanged their vows and were elated to have been able to share this beautiful occasion with her present. Happiness filled the room, everyone with a smile on their face and tears in their eyes.
Amy Donaldson, our Administrator, knew by letting Lisa know of this special request, that she would do whatever it took to make it a memorable day for everyone involved. Lisa did not hesitate to make this happen. Moments like this remind us all that coming to a nursing home doesn't mean that your life is over. At Admiral's Pointe, it is the beginning of new memories, new friends, exciting activities and exceptional care. And most importantly, it creates a new and loving home.
